Krave Kratom is a recently established online vendor based in Santee, California. Unfortunately, their reputation stems primarily from the fact that some of their products were involved in the 2018 Kratom Salmonella outbreak.
Following the outbreak, many Kratom vendors chose to rebrand themselves, while some also underwent more substantial changes to ensure that they would never sell contaminated products in the future. Unfortunately, this was not the case with Krave Kratom. Although they have now become Krave Botanicals, the company is yet to seriously revise its policy and continues to sell Kratom that has not been tested for purity.

Krave Kratom Products
A wide variety of powders and capsules are available for purchase on this vendor’s online store. These include popular strains such as Maeng Da, Green Malay, White Thai, and Yellow Borneo, as well as newer, more experimental ones like Red Dragon and CBD-Infused Kratom. Those of you who cannot stand the taste of Kratom powders needn’t worry. All strains that are available in powdered form are also sold as capsules, albeit for a slightly higher price.
If neither powders, nor capsules are your thing, you might be interested in Krave Kratom’s liquid shots and tincture concentrates. Although the vendor does not specify which strains were used in the extraction of these liquids, most consumers who have tried them agree that they are quite potent and very convenient to ingest. Liquid shots are more expensive than other forms of Kratom, but may be worth the additional cost if you cannot stomach this herb in any other way.
Due to the uncertain nature of this vendor, we advise first-time customers who are committed to a purchase to first try one or several of Krave Kratom’s sample packs. At $69.99 per 250 grams for their most famous Gold Kratom in powdered form, the prices practiced by this vendor are well under the market average. Unfortunately, the fact that Krave Kratom’s prices are this low does not always work in its favor. Given that the vendor’s Maeng Da and Gold Kratom products were found to be contaminated with Salmonella, the question of whether such low prices imply very poor quality is on every customer’s mind.
Shipping
Krave Kratom offer free standard USPS delivery. However, they are particularly slow when it comes to packaging and shipping, which might take up to 2 days once an order was paid. You must then allow another 5 to 7 working days for delivery, which can amount to more than 1 week between the moment you pay for your Kratom and the moment it arrives.
Customer Support
Krave Kratom do not provide a phone number for customer support. To get in touch with their support team, you must either use the provided form on their website or drop them an e-mail. According to other Krave Kratom reviews, it can take anywhere between 1 and 4 days before you receive a reply, which is certain not reassuring.
Although the company’s Terms and Conditions page includes an advertisement that customers should read about Krave Kratom’s return policy, no such policy is specified anywhere on the website. Presumably, clients should be able to return disappointing products, but we cannot state for a fact that it is possible to obtain a replacement or refund from this vendor.

Is It a Reliable Vendor?
Unfortunately, there is no way that this vendor can be considered reliable. Although they did alter their name after the Salmonella outbreak of 2018, no further changes were made in terms of policy and safety standards.
Under the circumstances, we can only advise you to buy your Kratom from a different source. Vendors such as The Golden Monk regularly test their products for purity and are far more likely to deliver high-quality, unadulterated Kratom.
