Elephant Kratom Review: A New Vendor That Raises Many Red Flags

Although we make it a point to keep an eye out for up-and-coming Kratom vendors, we can’t say that Elephant Kratom is one of them. Judging from their website, the severe lack of both customer reviews and other people mentioning them on specialty forums and websites, we cannot recommend their products as being safe for consumption. In fact, there is no guarantee that you’re actually getting pure Kratom when you buy from them.

Elephant Kratom Review: A New Vendor That Raises Many Red Flags

Elephant Kratom Products

As you would expect from a new Kratom shop, Elephant Kratom’s product range is limited. Although there is nothing inherently wrong with that, since everyone has to start from somewhere, we can’t say that their business model inspires a lot of trust.

At the time of writing, their shop offered 6 capsule-based containers, one extract product, and 6 powder products. Capsules and extracts, in particular, make it more difficult for us to ascertain the quality of what they’re selling and easier for them to cut their Kratom with third party substances. There is no mention on their website about the facility where their products are made or whether the Kratom batches are tested for safety purposes.

Upon a closer inspection, Elephant Kratom actually sells just three types of Kratom: Green Maeng Da, White Maeng Da, and Red Vein Bali. However, we’re not sure whether they understand what elephant Kratom actually means. Their header image features a bowl of green powder next to several small leaves, which by no means look in any way similar to the mature Kratom leaves used to make the elephant strain.

Prices

Given its novelty to the Kratom business, we expected Elephant Kratom’s shop to feature special promotions and affordable powders. Quite the opposite is the case, as this vendor wants to sell their products at a premium fee, i.e. $30 for just 50 grams of GMD. While it is true that the Elephant variety is more expensive, we’ve yet to encounter a certified seller who is successful with such high prices.

Their GMD pills are, on average, 25% more expensive than the powders. This is yet another example of unfounded pricing, since we can buy our very own capsule-making kit for as little as $15. No matter how we look at it, the expense is just not worth it.

Shipping

We can’t give you any information on the shop’s shipping and return policy since they have no separate page or section where you can read more about this aspect of their business. Their e-commerce basically looks like it’s under construction, but there is no mention of this anywhere.

We would not feel comfortable ordering from a party that does not specify what are the terms of purchase, when they’re going to ship the product, an estimation of delivery time, as well as whether we can return it.

Customer Support

You’ll have a hard time coming across a genuine Elephant Kratom review, let alone mentions of their customer support. They claim that their clients “rave about them,” but all we found are people saying that this vendor is the definition of shady.

While there is a Contact and a Wholesale section on their website, at this point, we’d rather avoid any interaction with this vendor. Claiming something is true doesn’t make it so.

Client Testimonials

When we sat down to write this evaluation, every single one of the Elephant Kratom product reviews featured by their website were posted on the same day: 28 ambiguous, 1-line testimonials within the timespan of 24 hours are a big red flag for us. Their source is, at best, questionable. Fortunately, we managed to find several testimonials on specialty forums:

I’m always on the lookout for new people in the Kratom business. I stumbled across Elephant Kratom when I was actually looking for the strain, so I thought I’d give them a try. Their GMD and WMD barely had an effect on me, so I can’t say I was satisfied with their powders. Maybe it’s my individual tolerance or maybe they’re just bad.”

“I ordered Red Bali from Elephant Kratom alongside the same product from two other vendors. I wanted to test whether the products are actually different when you buy them from various merchants, because they all look like the same thing to me. The good news is that all of them had their distinctive features, which I expanded on in a blogpost on my personal page. The bad news is that Elephant’s was the weakest.”

Is It a Reliable Vendor?

The Kratom market continues to grow at a steady rate, so much so that every month seems to bring a new vendor or brand. While we generally welcome new competitors, since it forces everyone to increase the quality of their services and products, some of these seem to be in it just for a quick profit.

The gist of this Elephant Kratom review is that we cannot recommend the shop as reliable vendor. Their product range, prices, customer service, and website might improve with time, but this first impression will be a lasting one for us.

To ensure that your Kratom powder is both safe and pure, we advise you to try one of the leading, certified websites, such as The Golden Monk.
