Who we are
We are a team of writers with a passion for the Kratom plant, Mitragyna speciosa. We had our first experience with kratom back in 2010, when it became a huge phenomenon across many Southeast Asian countries. Although it’s been almost a decade since then, we haven’t yet managed to try all the strains that have been gradually introduced to the market. Given how popular Kratom is across the globe and the speed with which new strains are created and marketed, this feat might be better suited for a younger generation.
What we do
Our goal is to create an encyclopedia of Kratom, a place of knowledge where both expert kratom users and beginners can come for unbiased information. Even if we are enthusiastic about the topic, our mission is to help individuals form a balanced and comprehensive perspective on a given strain or kratom-related subject.
All of our work is the result of hundreds of hours’ worth of research, comparisons, reviews, and quality control. We’re not looking for praise, but we welcome users’ opinions and information, which, if proven to be factual and sound, will be included in our work.
Why we do it
The drive behind this project stems from two different places. First and foremost, there are tens of websites allegedly handing out authoritative, fact-checked knowledge on strains, dosages, and effects. Many of them are not just incomplete, misinformed, or plain rubbish, but they also claim to have the user’s best interest at heart. In most instances, they do more harm than good, which is why we strive to provide a sounder alternative.
Secondly, this kratom encyclopedia is what we would have wanted to have in 2010s. Back when we first started, we had our share of sii koon roi/koroi (or 4x100s). In retrospect, we wish we hadn’t. In fact, what we needed the most was a guiding spirit: somebody or something to help us figure out the best type(s) and use(s) of kratom. This is what we hope to achieve for others.
